Maybach Introduces Luxury Eyewear Collection

Maybach’s luxury vehicles have captured the hearts and minds of the rich & famous as well as the imagination of the average individual for many years. Now it seems as though they’re planning to bring those same feelings of want and desire into their newest venture – eyewear. Their first collection consists of 8 different sunglasses styles and 10 spectacle models handmade by German eyewear makers IVKO. Each pair was crafted with the highest level of design and quality featuring 18K yellow, white, and rose gold frames, titanium, fine wood, leather, carbon fiber, natural horn and Zeiss lenses. For those who want more distinguishable features, Maybach is offering an Individual Collection allowing their premium customers a chance to customize their glasses with more precious metals. Maybach’s eyewear collection is expected to be available by October, and, although there’s no word on the price, hopefully it won’t be too high so that ordinary people have a chance to get in on the Maybach fun. Helvetic Motor Company’s Hildago Reskins the Mercedes-Benz SLK 55 AMG

Swiss carmaker Helvetic Motor Company (HMC) set out to reskin the Mercedes-Benz SLK 55 AMG, and finally the fruits of that labor have revealed itself in the form of a vintage inspired vehicle titled Hildago. The gorgeous exterior of this luxury car incorporates classic design traits from the past as well as the new innovations of our present. Underneath the hood you’ll find that the Hildago is powered by the 5.5-liter V8, which puts out 355 horsepower and 376 lb-ft of torque. Of course you won’t be surprised to know that the Hildago is pretty exclusive, due in part to the limited availability of 6 cars per year and the steep price tag of ($410,000). But if you want a high-end blast from the past, that’s the price you’ll just have to pay.

Puma unveils the new models of urban bike spring 2010. Designed by Danish manufacturer Biomega and designed by Jens Martin Skibsted, the Pico and the Nevis with flashy colors will be available from May at a price of 650 € for the Pico and 750 € for Nevis. Each Puma bike is accompanied by a sticker book of bike names creating the possibility to character and customize the bike.
